Branching Out is the Middle School Youth Ministry program at St. John Neumann parish. Branching Out aims to provide a number of opportunities for 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders to engage in service oriented, social, and faith growing experiences to compliment the Rooted program. As we become more ROOTED in our faith, we are called to BRANCH OUT as Christs hands in the world around us.
FCPS has a student day off on Monday, February 4th and we will be meeting for a Branching Out day from 8:30am-4:30pm. We’ll start at SJN and attend daily Mass. We’ll spend some time having fun and getting to know each other better, we’ll go to Topgolf in Loudoun where we’ll spend a few hours and eat lunch, we’ll do a service project (they can claim at least one hour of service), and we’ll discuss some current popular music and how it relates to our faith. Registration is required and there is a $35 fee (which can be waived if a scholarship is needed). Space is limited and registration closes by January 25th even if spots are not full. (If registration fills quickly and we have enough chaperones, we may be able to open additional spots.)
To register, go to https://secure.accessacs.com/access/login.aspx (Log in. On the home screen there is a box towards the upper left called “ I Want to View…” and in that box you should click on “Available Registrations”. Choose the Branching Out event and follow the instructions.
