Carpenter's Shelter

Christmas Angel Tree Project

Hypothermia Project

Meals on Wheels

North County
Volunteers prepare food during the winter months for clients in the Reston Interfaith Hypothermia Program. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Terri Clement or Merry Orr at sjnoutreach@gmail.com.

North Virginia Mental Health Effort
Volunteers work with patients in therapeutic interest groups and assist the chaplain with spiritual ministry services on weekends. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Sandra Smith or Jane Mazzola at sjnoutreach@gmail.com.

ProLife
Volunteers inform St. John Neumann parishioners about events and concerns of Pro-Life issues important to our Catholic faith. Participates in numerous activities at the local and national level to include the Life Chain in October, National Right to Life march in January, and the sale of Advent greens/wreaths to benefit a local Crisis Pregnancy Center. Source of information regarding initiatives to give voice to Pro-Life concerns as well as forms for individual implementation of the Advance Medical Directive. Samaritans

S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat)
Volunteers prepare and serve a full breakfast to about 350 people at the S.O.M.E. homeless Shelter in Washington, D.C. Work begins at 6 AM on the 2nd Sunday of each month during May through September. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Julie Funaki at sjnoutreach@gmail.com.

Thanksgiving Food Baskets
