Parish Lenten Mission Food Packing
During our Parish Lenten Mission, we will be packing about 20,000 meals (in addition to the 50,000 meals packed by Rooted) to help feed those in need. Please read the following before signing up to volunteer:
- This service project is open to ALL ages.
- Please complete this form once for your whole family.
- This is not a chaperoned event; supervision of youth is the responsibility of parents. Youth under 10 years old will need to work directly with a parent's help.
- Everyone will be expected to wear aprons and gloves provided by Cross Catholic Outreach and will be required to follow their health and safety protocols. Long hair will need to be pulled back/up. We may be asked to use hair and/or beard nets to protect the food we are preparing.
- Those with strong soy allergies should plan to wear a mask as soy allergies could be irritated by the dust created from the meal ingredients.
Please complete the volunteer form, and you will be emailed more detailed instructions a few days before the event.
Thank you for volunteering!
If you would like to support the Parish Lenten Mission Food Packing Service Project, but cannot volunteer, you can support through a donation:
