WorkCamp is an opportunity to deepen your relationship with Jesus Christ and build community with others. Testimonies and videos of previous WorkCamps are provided below.

Adult Parishioners: WorkCamp needs you!

Support WorkCamp!
Arlington Diocese WorkCamp youth ministry program provides teens with an opportunity to encounter Christ through service, faith, and fellowship. This service opportunity is proven to be transformative for youth in our diocese. To ensure WorkCamp is feasible for any SJN youth wishing to attend, we provide need-based scholarships. Your WorkCamp 2024 donation directly supports our scholarship fund, making this transformative experience possible.

Adult Volunteers Opportunities
Are you an adult and interested in volunteering in any capacity. Adult volunteers are essential to make WorkCamp a success. There are various roles of volunteering where you can help for the whole week, accompany the teens as a crew leader, or help in an overnight/one-time role. Below are various way’s one can get involved:
- Contractor– Contractors are volunteers who are handy with tools, can implement plans, and enjoy leading a team of volunteers to complete the job. Licensing is not required. Contractors are needed for four days (or any portion) between 6/22-6/26. Learn more about being a contractor here.
- Crew Leader– A crew leader accompanies our teens throughout the process of our prep prior to and during workcamp. The crew leader’s main obligation is on-site safety and relational ministry.
- Security– Security is a great role if you cannot commit for the entire week but are interested in helping for a few hours on a specific day. Security volunteers help keep “Home Base” a safe and secure space during afternoon-evening transition as campers return from their work sites.
- Ongoing needs- There are ongoing preparation where help is needed, including the Mardi Gras fundraiser, tool training, WorkCamp prep meetings, etc.
For further information or to volunteer, please email Nick Buck at nvbuck@verizon.net.
